Back to UVA to take some photos of the Rotunda beneath an arch next to a passageway.

Several versions from the same photos. the one up top is straight forward mostly and doesn't confuse the eye so much.

There is a more complete version that I got tired of twiddling with. Below is the intermediate part with sections not quite fitting but often sufficiently well that you don’t notice the difference.

Arches and round tops. Why do we struggle to put the dome in a position that matches the arch? Prettiness? Completeness? Comparativeness? Except it doesn’t fit. The illusion of expectation is sufficient to distract us from the reality of the falsehood.

Other than that, I wanted to put at least a couple of the elements of the place together. Red brick is great.
