The upper photos having been exposed at a level for the sky gave the tree a darkly mysterious aspect.

The background trees have been overexposed to the point of blackness to increase that mix
of daylight/nighttime colour. I've liked that Magritte painting of the daytime sky and a nightime
house since the first time I saw it. It's an idea that has a lot of possibilities for growth.
