Milton Keynes is a modern town that gets a lot of criticism for, well, being Milton Keynes. I like the place and the library is an enjoyable space with a great seventies mural on the wall in the lobby, built and painted when we thought society needed Art to make us better inside. Margaret Thatcher put a stop to all that, apparently.
