Even though the colours and shapes are hardly convincing the eye seems much happier
with the gaps filled in. When faced with the large dark square above the pram the brain
automatically tries to invent what it could be, despite it being a flat, single coloured fill.
Not everyone will see these in the same way, obviously. I am generalising from my own
responses. I would be interested to know how others respond to this kind of pictorial 'test'.
