The milk drink at the bottom is viewed directly from above to let you know this is a joiner. Also, check out the sharp line at his left shoulder. The medieval masons apparently would make an error in their work on purpose because perfection was only for God. At least that's what they told the foreman anyway. And I am in complete agreement that we should have errors in our work as a sign of humility. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
