Inside the Rouen Gallery

From glass roof to tables and floor. There is a mix of natural and artificial lighting in the scene. The violet hued central section is a clear indication of how colour values changed in the series of photographs taken. An easy solution is found by allowing the foreground table and chairs to distract from the differences and having thin black horizontals between sections. If you are not on the lookout for such things the brain will most likely come up with other solutions to explain it even though it is barely disguised - a change in floor colour, a tinted panel behind the back wall mural.
